The customer, a large communication company, has asked X.N.I Networks consultants to help design and change the peering of their worldwide networks to multiple providers.

Gears : Cisco routers, triple OBS peering, Cogent and Verizon.

Goal was to change the internet provider and their BGP peering. Difficulty was to make the move as transparent as possible worldwide routing table and routing protocols wise (OSPF multi-areas on LAN side and static routing) using BGP communities , routes filtering for inbound and outbound BGP policies.
